French Clock Garniture c1860

Some people wait for the best before buying. this is a truly fine French clock garniture. The French movement is count wheel strike. the clock chimes the hour and half hour on a small bell. It is signed by the artist and is celebrating springtime. Because the clock is held aloft by two female figures it is more unusual and rare. the metal it is made of is Spealter as Bronze was in high demand to make the weapon of the day 'Cannons'. It has its original key and unusual pendulum which is a basket of flowers. the clock is in excellent working condition.
